Hello from the Alberdas:  Jon, George and Doug!  Welcome to Alberda Angus and to the Big Sky Country, Montana.  Our ranch is in the fertile Gallatin Valley which is located about ninety miles north of Yellowstone National Park.  If you get close to Bozeman, please look us up and view some of our cattle.

Producing quality Angus breedstock that predictably meets the needs and desires of our customers is the goal of Alberda Angus.  Moderate birth weights coupled with easy-fleshing and fast-gaining cattle is what our customers demand and over the years we have selected sires that will produce those kind of cattle.  Our herd is both fertile and efficient, maintaining the calving-ease and maternal ability the Angus breed is known for.  We are dedicated to using proven genetics that produce like kind in quality and performance.

The cattleman will always be foremost in our mind as we select and produce quality breedstock for the times ahead.

Alberda Traveler 416 was born on this place and semen is still available.

Our cattle are marketed by private treaty.  The performance-tested bulls sell in the spring and each year we market a select set of heifers in the fall.  To see some of these superior cattle visit our Bull Pen or Heifer Pen pages!
